Mansfield Davis
1920-2003
Background Mansfield Davis retired from the active practice of law in June of 2003 when the offices were acquired by John J. Hughes. He founded the office in 1955. He was licensed to practice law in the State of California in the State and Federal trial and appellate courts. Although he began his career in criminal defense, Mr. Davis quickly turned to the representation of maritime workers, bringing to bear his prior experience working on the waterfront.
Education Mr. Davis attended Stanford University and received his LL.B. from Golden Gate School of Law.
Military Service Mr. Davis was a veteran of World War II and served with the United States Coast Guard.
